Pioneer Cemetery Commission
This nine-member commission was established by county ordinance in order to
protect and keep up gravesites in what are considered "Pioneer Cemeteries"
located in Des Moines County.
There are 48 Pioneer Cemeteries in Des Moines County and they are
comprised of approximately 1,665 graves.
The nine member commission is made up of the following members:
