 | News Article for 11/29/2011Zoning CommissionThe Des Moines County Zoning Commission currently has a vacancy that expires January 2012. This is an appointed, volunteer position. If you are willing to accept the succeeding five year term which will end January 2017, please include that with your application. Meetings are held as needed. Persons interested in applying must be a resident of the County's two-mile zoning area. In order to meet requirements for gender balance, the Supervisors will consider female candidates first.
