MY GOALS:
 
Economic Development
 
Set policies that encourage an economic climate that will attract new business & jobs.
 
Work together with local officials, surrounding communities and other organizations to build the infrastructure necessary to encourage economic development.
 
Lower Taxes
 
Work to maintain current levels of critical services while looking for ways to eliminate or down-size non-essential expenditures.
 
Prioritize the need to work with our current county departments to be more efficient.
 
Work to re-build the reserve to help cushion against state cuts and unexpected, unplanned expenditures.
 
Work closely with city departments to share expenses, when possible, by avoiding duplicated services.
