Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide sound and stable roadside management practices for Des Moines County's 3000+ acres of right of way
- Removal and control of unwanted trees and brush for visual and other safety concerns
- Use of proper seeding to provide erosion and weed control on new construction areas
- Provide erosion control practice for other vulnerable sites
- Control of state listed and other noxious weeds in county right of way
- Establish and maintain roadside prairies
