Top of PageAbout Des Moines County Correctional Center:The Des Moines County Correctional Center is staffed with one (1) Jail Administrator, one (1) Assistant Jail Administrator, four (4) Sergeants, fifteen (15) Full-Time Correctional Officers, numerous Part-Time Correctional Officers, three (3) Part-Time Transportation Officers, one (1) Administrative Assistant, one (1) Dietary Manager, and numerous Part-Time Cooks and Cooks Assistants. Des Moines County Correctional Center handles all transportation arrangements for the Des Moines County Sheriff's Office. A partial list of transports the Correctional Officers perform include:

Visitation hours for inmates at the Correctional Center are assigned by their cell. It is the inmates responsibility to advise their family/friends of their visitation times. All visitors must be prepared to show a photo identification before entrance. To put money on an inmate commissary account you have two options.
